At the 4th FASTEC User Forum on November 7/8, 2016, the focus of the event was on “Growing MES solutions for your production success”. Interesting presentations alternated with a lively exchange of experiences between users during the breaks.
Dirk Wunsch, Head of Production and Work Preparation at heimatec and one of the speakers at the AWF, summarized: “The user forum was a meeting of exchange.” And it was precisely for this purpose that FASTEC once again brought together over 100 MES users and interested parties from a wide range of industries, from automotive, electronics and mechatronics, wood and plastics processing, food processing to the metal, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
Dr. Karl-Heinz Gerdes, Managing Director of FASTEC GmbH, explains this colourful mix as follows: “Our MES solution FASTEC 4 PRO is characterized by high modularity and functionality combined with flexible configurability. This results in a wide range of possible applications in the most diverse industries. Thanks to these properties of our software, we can meet almost any customer requirement and find the best solution for any production environment. The universality of FASTEC 4 PRO is probably nowhere more evident than at the AWF, namely in the fact that so many users from a wide range of industries come together.”
The combination of practical presentations, discussions with other users, interested parties or FASTEC employees, live presentations of the MES solution FASTEC 4 PRO and the productivity measuring device easyOEE, inspired the visitors. The event also provided a good opportunity to get to know the FASTEC company and its employees.
Manuel Banzhaf from CODAN Medizinische Geräte GmbH und Co KG summarized: “I got to know a highly communicative and competent, professional company.”
