Humans and Machines in the Factory of the Future

FASTEC Forum, MES, Industrie 4.0, FASTEC, MDE, BDE, Event
We are almost there: On November 12, 2024, we will be hosting the FASTEC Forum in Paderborn. Ludwig Weinrich GmbH & Co. KG and the Theo Müller Group will be giving practical presentations on the use of an MES in production. In a panel discussion, experts will exchange ideas about people and machines in the factory of the future. Participation in the event is free of charge – but registration is required.
Hybrid Cloud-Edge Architecture and Self-Developed Hardware

FASTEC has updated its range this year: pvaPRO, smartOEE and FASTedge are the new products and represent a milestone in development. Participants of the forum are able to learn about them on site and can ask questions about their practical use. In addition, Leon Pott, Head of Product Development at FASTEC, will give a presentation about the FASTEC solutions and how they interact. He will discuss the advantages of a web-based cloud-native application for the manufacturing industry and highlight the possibilities and benefits of a hybrid MES.

At the FASTEC Forum, customers and prospects can get to know us and our MES solutions better. They have the opportunity to experience the products live and to talk to us directly and ask questions. With presentations on the practical use of an MES and discussions of current industry topics, there is something for everyone – whether you are just starting out or have been part of the MES world for years

Best Practice Examples: Use Mes and Optimize Production

Learning from each other, exchanging ideas: practical examples illustrate how the digitalization of a production process can be successfully implemented. For this reason, two FASTEC customers will talk about their experiences in lectures. Tanja Lichtenegger, Head of Operational Technology Solutions, will report on the introduction of FASTEC 4 PRO as an MES solution in the Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller. Among other things, she will discuss the goal and the decision-making process, share experiences from the pilot project at the Aretsried site and describe the rollout plan for FASTEC 4 PRO for all of the company’s production sites.

Nico Schütte, Head of Automation Technology at Ludwig Weinrich GmbH & Co. KG, has been digitizing the chocolate maker’s production with FASTEC since 2020. In the presentation, participants learn exactly how the process of capturing and processing the fault information works. He reports on the successes Weinrich Schokolade has already achieved with it and provides further details from his work with FASTEC 4 PRO.

Partner or Antagonist?

With the increasing digitalization of manufacturing processes, the question of how humans and machines will interact in the future is becoming more and more pressing. Experts from a wide range of fields will discuss this in a panel discussion. Among the participants are key speaker Prof. Dr. Michael Groß and Felix Czaja, Senior Sales Manager at FASTEC. Together, they will take a look at the factory of the future and discuss the possibilities of successful cooperation between humans and machines.
