To make the day a successful experience, we have once again adapted our concept for Girl’s Day this year. We are very happy about Hannah’s visit and the day we spent together. Once again an exciting experience full of new impressions, also for us.
Promoting young talent is an important topic for FASTEC, because we are also dependent on well-trained specialists. Our industry-specific focus is primarily on STEM professions. Girl’s Day, as a special STEM support program, therefore offers a good opportunity to give young people an insight into our industry at an early stage.
Hannah wanted to spend a day behind the scenes in the marketing department of a software company. When she arrived at the company, she was welcomed by our marketing team. After a brief introduction to our product world and an overview of the various job profiles in our marketing department, she was already working on her first concrete tasks. Over the course of the afternoon, she created a social media post about the “Mobile Client” Additional Function of our FASTEC 4 PRO software. In addition to the basics of design, SEO basics and text creation for web texts, she got to know the design programs InDesign, Photoshop (Adobe Creative Suite) and the social media channel LinkedIn.
Hannah recalls:
I’ve always wanted to get to know the field of marketing. Now I know that there is much more to it than meets the eye and how varied the field is. The one-day internship was very worthwhile for me!
Looking back, it was a special day for everyone. Even though this event is now part of our routine, we are always amazed at what can be conveyed in just one day.
We are very happy about the great cooperation and are already looking forward to what awaits us next year.
