Our Flexible and Simple Models for the Win
Digitalisation in particular offers companies entirely new opportunities: Through home office and remote working, we can actively support our employees in achieving a better work-life balance. FASTEC’s flexible and unbureaucratic working time models, which allow private appointments to be flexibly integrated into the working day, are particularly worth highlighting.
Our employees should be able to organise their day according to their needs and individual circumstances. Care is taken to ensure that joint appointments and meetings only take place during a certain core time, thus ensuring good planning. Improvements are worked out and expectations are harmonised in regular consultations with managers and the team. We conduct an anonymous employee survey every year in order to record the needs and wishes of our employees and to continuously improve.
We are very pleased to have received this important award once again. It proves that we have already achieved a lot at FASTEC in terms of balancing family and career. We will continue to do everything in our power to maintain our high standards or even improve them in the future.
Stefan Rupprecht, Managing Director at FASTEC

Offers for Employees to be Expanded
The plan for the future is to further expand health promotion within the company: For example, sports programmes should also be available to families. FASTEC would also like to expand its support and counselling services in areas such as resilience, time management and work-life balance.
Health is an important aspect when it comes to the well-being of our employees. For this reason, we want to enable them to actively promote and, if necessary, support their health. An innovative and pleasant working atmosphere is only possible if our employees are satisfied.
Nicole Vollbrecht, HR Manager at FASTEC
The “Family-friendly company” award is presented every two years. It is organised by the Centre of Excellence Women and Career OWL together with its cooperation partners, the district of Paderborn, the East Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Bielefeld and the East Westphalia-Lippe Chamber of Crafts in Bielefeld.
District Administrator Christoph Rüther and Eva Leschinski, Head of the Women and Work Centre of Excellence, presented FASTEC with the certificate on 20 October 2023 at Landgasthaus Lohre.

What our Colleagues Say:
I have been with the company since September 2019. As a mother of two teenagers and a caregiver for my father, my everyday life is often characterised by a lack of time and spontaneous challenges. I experience a lot of support, understanding and trust throughout the company. The flexible working hours and home office arrangements are very convenient for me.
Anne Gebhard, Design and Content Manager bei FASTEC
FASTEC gives me the opportunity to determine my own working hours, so my job as a working student is perfectly compatible with my studies. In my previous job, this was not possible at all due to shift work. Here, I now enjoy the freedom and flexibility that allows me to prioritise work, study and leisure at my own pace.
Jennifer Ewald, Working Student at FASTEC
I’ve been with the company since March 2020. I really appreciate the fact that you can flexibly adapt your working hours to your family thanks to flexitime and working from home. One of my sons recently did a career orientation day at FASTEC. It was very much in our favour that this was so easy and uncomplicated.
