The FASTedge Box with stainless steel housing is the ideal solution for entering digital production – without major hardware investments. It integrates seamlessly into your existing IT infrastructure and reliably handles system control directly on the shopfloor. High availability is also guaranteed (Always On).
An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) protects against data loss and enables a safe shutdown in the event of a power outage.
Especially for companies looking to implement an MES like FASTEC 4 PRO, the EdgeBox offers an easy starting point: it allows for implementation without an additional server, reducing both complexity and costs. Internet connectivity and communication with terminals and machines take place via the company’s internal network. Regular cloud backups are also created.

FASTedge SFT15: Interface Between Human and Machine
The FASTedge SFT15 is the interface between operator and machine. Built on years of experience, it delivers everything required on the shop floor: a robust aluminum housing, a 15″ capacitive touchscreen, and intuitive operation.
Operators use the shop floor terminal to enter data into the system—for example, to log machine downtimes or add fault reasons. The terminal comes standard with an integrated RFID reader and digital inputs for automated machine signal capture. Connectivity to the EdgeBox is established via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.

FASTedge SFH10: for Mobile Use in Production
The MES Is Always Within Reach: The FASTedge SFH10 (Shopfloor Handheld) is ideal for mobile use in production. The tablet is suitable for the following areas:
Maintenance: Employees in maintenance especially benefit from the FASTedge SFH10. When performing maintenance tasks in the production area, they always have access to relevant information such as instructions and documents.
Quality Assurance: Similar to maintenance, quality assurance personnel leave the lab to carry out inspections on the shop floor. These can be reported directly back to the system via the tablet.
Multiple Machine Operation: With the FASTedge SFH10, there is no need for each machine to have its own terminal. Employees can carry the tablet with them and select the respective machine for MDA / PDA.
Traceability: Employees in the warehouse and production record material to manage inventory, serial numbers, and batches. The FASTedge SFH10 can replace a conventional scanner thanks to its integrated camera.
